VASTRA was founded with a long-term vision to build a brand that blends comfort, craftsmanship, and sustainability whilst trying to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Before VASTRA launched, our  founder established an NGO dedicated to supporting destitute and underprivileged children. That commitment remains at the heart of our brand today. A portion of our profits directly funds charitable initiatives, helping provide care, education, clothing and opportunities for those who need it most.

As we grow, our goal is to expand into new sustainable product categories, continually searching for materials and solutions that support a cleaner, healthier future.

The Team

VASTRA was brought to life by a close group of individuals who share the same vision, ethics, and commitment to positive change. Each person contributes expertise in design, sustainability, sourcing, and product development to push the brand forward with purpose.

A special part of our story began with our founder’s unfruitful search for medical socks which prompted deeper research into fabrics, fibres, and chemical free materials. This led to  researching organic textiles, alternative fibres, and sustainable production methods. Bamboo stood out immediately. Soft, breathable, low-impact and naturally suited to premium and performance wear.

Ethical Craftsmanship

During our early development, we discovered that many manufacturers could not meet the ethical, environmental, or quality standards we demanded. Rather than compromise, we partnered only with responsible, transparent, and ethical manufacturing teams who align with our values.

From our signature bamboo polos to our breathable t-shirts, every product is crafted using high quality bamboo fibres chosen for their softness, durability, and natural performance.

Vastra reflects this commitment through cleaner processes, higher quality materials and respect for both people and planet.
